Citric Acid – Soil Acidity Booster
For gardeners working with alkaline soils (pH > 6.8), citric acid is a simple, natural tool to unlock nutrients and boost plant growth. When applied through fertigation every 2 weeks (2–4 g/m² during active growth), citric acid temporarily lowers soil pH in the root zone, improving the solubility and availability of key nutrients such as phosphorus, iron, and micronutrients.
This short-term acidity effect stimulates stronger growth and healthier plants. With consistent use, citric acid may also contribute to longer-term pH correction, gradually creating a more balanced soil environment.
Directions for Use
Apply 2–4 g/m² via fertigation every two weeks during the growing season.
