Feather meal is an organic high nitrogen fertiliser which is very suitable when a nitrogen is needed without the commonly excessive potassium & phosphorus in vegetable growing systems. At 14% nitrogen, feather meal releases a consist dosage over a 3-month period. Generally applied at bed preparation of each crop and for most veg crops would be a sufficient boost to the completion of the crop.
Application Rates: Suggested rates between 40 to 150g/m2 which would supply 48 to 150 units of nitrogen.
